Solano, SMUD try to hammer out legal remedy over wind turbines

FAIRFIELD — Members of the Solano County Airport Land Use commissioners were told Thursday night that the county is negotiating with SMUD away from the court in an effort to settle the lawsuit it brought against the utility firm over plans to install larger wind turbines in the Montezuma Hills area.
