Social Media Helps This 92-Year-Old Find His Lost Letterman Jacket—and Score a Date!

Mal Osborn spent weeks looking for his letterman jacket. When his daughter posted a call for help on Facebook, a social media manhunt helped reunite Osborn with his jacket.
Mal Osborn’s beloved letterman jacket from the 1950s is a staple in his wardrobe. So when the 92-year-old noticed that it was missing, around Halloween of this year, he felt a sense of urgency to locate it.
Osborn wore the jacket everywhere—at home, while out in town, and sometimes when he ate at his favorite restaurant, The Sherwood. He has worn his letterman jacket for every occasion, including as a winter coat from time to time.
