Two adults and a three-year-old have been rescued off Moscow Mountain after their snowmobile got stuck in heavy snow.
The Latah County Sheriff’s Office received a call about the stranded snowmobilers Monday morning. The adults and toddler got stuck late Sunday afternoon and were able to spend the night staying warm in an outbuilding that had a woodstove.
The sheriff’s office search and rescue team was assisted by Troy Volunteer Firefighters using their tracked side-by-side to rescue the adults and child late Monday morning. All three were were checked out OK.
