A snow plow cleans W. 10th Ave., a side street near The Ohio State University in Columbus, on Tuesday, February 2, 2021. The morning temperature was 23 degrees; temperatures were predicted to be in the 20's on Wednesday.
More than seven inches arrived in some parts of central Ohio Monday night into Tuesday, covering roadways, slowing the morning commute and causing numerous school delays and closings.
Columbus City Schools canceled all blended learning and remote learning classes due to road conditions, and transportation services will not be provided. The district also canceled all extracurricular activities for the evening.
