OF THE TRAVEL CONCERNS. BUT THE ROAD CONDITIONS WILL CONTINUE TO DETERIORATE THROUGH THE NIGHTTIME HOURS. LIGHT TO MODERATE SNOW ACROSS THE ENTIRE METRO RIGHT NOW. TAKING A LOOK AGAIN OUTSIDE, 90TH AND DODGE, THE SNOW COMING DOWN. CAR IS GETTING ALONG JUST FINE, SNOW STARTING TO COVER THE MEDIANS. GRASS SURFACE IS BECOMING COVERED, ELEVATED SURFACES, CARS IN PARKING LOTS BEING COVERED WITH SNOW RIGHT NOW. THE TEMPERATURES HANGING JUST ABOVE FREEZING, SO THAT IS LIMITING THE ACCUMULATION ON THE ROADS RIGHT NOW AND KEEPING THEM MORE ON THE WET SIDE FOR NOW. WHEN FAIRLY STRONG, MAKING IT FEEL LIKE 22. A BIG CHANGE THE PAST COUPLE DAYS AS THE COLD WEATHER HAS RETURNED AND THE SNOW AS WELL. MOST SPOTS AT OR JUST ABOVE FREEZING, 34 FREMONT, 33 LINCOLN, 32 COLUMBUS. WEST OF OMAHA IS WHERE WE IS SEEING -- WE ARE SEEING PARTLY COVERED ROADWAYS. THAT WILL HAPPEN IN THE METRO IN THE COMING HOURS. LOOK AT THIS SYSTEM, PRECIPITATION WRAPPING AROUND, THE RAIN CHANGING OVER TO SNOW, RIGHT OVER I.E.D.. TRAVEL ALONG I-80 TONIGHT NOT GOING TO BE GREAT AS THE TEMPERATURES DIP BELOW FREEZING. THE STORM PREDICTOR, NEAR 32 DEGREES, LIGHT TO MODERATE SNOW OVERNIGHT THROUGH ABOUT 6 A.M. AFTER 6 A.M., THINGS WIND DOWN WEST TO EAST, LINGERING LIKE SHOWERS OR FLURRIES STICKING AROUND THROUGH 9:00 A.M., 10:00 A.M., THEN EVERYTHING PUSHING INTO IOWA. AS WE DRY OUT IN THE AFTERNOON, MAYBE AFTERNOON SUNSHINE TOMORROW, BUT THE TEMPERATURES LOW TO MID 30’S, SO WILL BE CHILLY FOR THE HUSKERS IN LINCOLN. THE SNOW SHOULD BE GONE BY THE TIME KICKOFF ROLLS AROUND AT 11 A.M. THE WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR MOST OF THE VIEWING AREA UNTIL NOON TOMORROW. HAVEN’T CHANGED THE FORECAST MUCH. I 80, 3 TO SIX INCHES, MOST OF THIS WILL BE THREE TO FOUR INCHES, ISOLATED HIGHER AMOUNTS. LESS BEATRICE, AND ALSO TO THE NORTH. ENOUGH THAT WHERE YOU WILL HAVE TO SHOVEL TOMORROW MOST LIKELY IN THE METRO. THREE TO FOUR INCHES, IMPACTS TO THE ROADS AND TRAVEL TONIGHT AND TOMORROW MORNING. THE SNOW ACCUMULATES OVERNIGHT, STILL BELOW FREEZING TEMPERATURES IN THE MORNING. CREWS WILL BE WORKING THROUGH THE NIGHT.
