KOSSUTH COUNTY—The Kossuth County Sheriff’s Office is honored to recognize Bill Smidt of Titonka as the June “1440 Citizen of the Month”. Smidt and his family live near Titonka and own and operate Smidt’s Automotive Repair. The nomination stated that he is always ready to go above and beyond to help someone in need and he volunteers for numerous community events.
