Slugs and snails are two of the most troublesome visitors all year round in gardens, as they wreak havoc on any plants they set their sights on. Although it was decided in March 2022 that the RHS would no longer class slugs as pests, many are keen to stop these creatures in their tracks when precious plants are at risk.
