Slender Man attacker Annisa Weier to ask for her release from a mental health facility

Slender Man stabber, 19, will ask to be released from a mental health facility after she and friend lured classmate into the woods and stabbed her when they were 12 'to please the fictional horror character'
Annisa Weier was 12 years old when she and her friend, Morgan Geyser, also 12 at the time, stabbed classmate Payton Leutner nearly to death in 2014
The girls claimed they carried out the attack to please the fictional  horror character Slender Man 
Weier pleaded guilty to attempted second-degree intentional homicide and was sentenced to 25 years at the Winnebago Mental Health Institute in 2017
She is appearing before the same judge and asking for her conditional release, saying she does not pose 'a significant risk' of harming herself or others
