TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - Maudie Skyring and Ruby Stauber were honored for their work on and off the track Wednesday afternoon as they were both named to the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-District team. There are eight districts each for both the men and women with 11 athletes being named to each division. Both Skyring and Stauber have been exception in the classroom. Both boast 4.0 GPA's with Skyring majoring in exercise physiology and Stauber majoring in sport management. On the track, Stauber picked up an ACC title in the 800m run in her first year with the Noles. She will look to qualify for the NCAA Outdoor Championships in Eugene, Ore., in the event on Saturday. Skyring has had a phenomenal outdoor season after coming off an injury. She finished second in the 1500m run, tying her personal best time of 4:09.83. She also will be running on Saturday to solidify her spot at the NCAA Outdoor Championships. Skyring was also named a CoSIDA Second-Team Academic All-American in 2021. The full academic All-America teams will be announced on June 21.
