The folly of the Trump impeachment hearings forced Americans — some of us anyway — to explore what level of malfeasance constitutes reason for removal of office.
Was the president's arm-twisting of Ukraine's president in the name of political gain enough to warrant him being fired midterm? Most Americans remain divided on the answer.
Consider me among the few undecideds on the issue. Trump's actions were a gross abuse of power, but the efforts ultimately ended like so many of Trump's bumbling efforts in his four years in office — in failure. I hate to say "no harm, no foul" but ....
