Sinha takes over as MD of OMFED
Ashish Chandra Sinha has been appointed as Managing Director of the Orissa State Cooperative Milk Producers’ Federation Limited. OMFED is an apex level Dairy Cooperative Society registered under Cooperative Society Act.
Omfed aims to integrate the milk producers in rural areas with consumers in the urban areas with an enterprising aptitude. Sinha has been appointed for three years.
Sinha has a chequered career with dairy co-ops. Sinha was NDDB as General Manager before he was posted at OMFED as an officer on Special Duty.
Sinha was also with Jharkhand Milk Federation as Managing Directo, COMFED (SUDHA) for 11 years as Chief Executive and Rajkot Dairy (AMUL) as Managing Director for 16 years before joining NDDB as General Manager in 2018, reports the Interview Times.
