Simonaire proposes method for Anne Arundel parents to challenge curriculum items; schools, other pols say a check exists

The Anne Arundel County Senate delegation will continue discussion of a bill this week proposed by Sen. Bryan Simonaire that would force the county Board of Education to vote on existing curriculum items if a petition challenging a subject gets the signatures of at least 3% of parents or guardians.
