The Dispatch
The lists have been completed. The gathering of information has been done by telephone this year. Large gift boxes have been assembled and wrapped. Shopping has taken place. Toys, clothing and food are being sorted and placed in their family boxes.
All of this has been done in the face of a once-in-a-century pandemic. Health protocols have been followed to ensure safety for all. Smaller work groups and face masks have been utilized. Christmas will still come in 2020 and will certainly be celebrated by many.
Santa and his elves are prepared to deliver or distribute in Silver Valley on Christmas Eve. Christmas joy will be brought to 71 children from 29 families. Thirty people have already given their time and effort.
