Silver Alert: Greenwood police searching for 16-year-old girl believed to be in danger

Police in Greenwood are searching for a 16-year-old girl last seen early Monday morning.
Alyssa Pickett was last seen about 8 a.m. near her home in the 800 block of Bough Street, according to the Greenwood Police Department. She is believed to be in "extreme danger" and may require medical assistance.
Police said she may be headed to Alabama for a music festival.
Authorities issued a Silver Alert shortly after 1 p.m.
Police in the alert described Pickett as white with brown hair and brown eyes. She is 5 feet, 7 inches tall and was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt with the lettering "Levis" stitched in red and white polka dots and gray sweatpants.
