Signal is updating its disappearing message function by adding a custom timer duration. The functionality can also be preconfigured for all group and personal conversations. The timer has some preconfigured options that range from 30 seconds to four weeks, but users will also have the ability to set a custom time duration after which the messages will be automatically deleted.
