Salisbury Hospice Charity is looking for people to take on a firewalk
Salisbury Hospice Charity is seeking a team of daredevils to walk 15ft over hot coals at 550 degrees Celsius.
This year marks the hospice’s 40th anniversary and to mark it the charity is hosting its first fire walk on June 11 in front of the Guildhall.
Participants will be supported by UK Fire Walk and will receive training.
Fire walkers will receive intense training from Scott Bell. Scott is the twice Guinness World Record holder for the ‘Greatest Fire Walking Distance’ by walking 328 feet on burning coals.
Event fundraiser Abi Blake said: “Are you looking for a New Year challenge? Do you want to make a difference and raise much-needed funds for the hospice? Well this is just the challenge for you.
