Rochester, NY — The oldest is 68, the youngest age 11. The median age is 28 years old. There are 87 of them in total so far in 2021, victims of gun violence all. And 14 of them are no longer alive. Those who remain, along with their families and loved ones, will live with the legacy of the violence they survived.
As of April 25, there had been 159 mass shootings in the United States, nine of which occurred in Rochester, according to data collated by the nonprofit Gun Violence Archive.
