Thousands of vulnerable people in Swindon will receive a letter telling them what support is available if they are again shielding during Lockdown 3.
Clinically extremely vulnerable people will be told they should avoid going to shops or pharmacies and only leave their homes for exercise. They will be invited to sign up to a national database to request any support they need, including access to priority shopping.
Those residents who ask for support in Swindon will receive a phone call from the council's Live Well Team to find out what assistance and support they need, including access to priority online shopping.
