Sheriff: Vehicle struck, woman killed by flying tire on I-75 SB in Boone County

An 18-year-old Independence woman was killed early Sunday as she was traveling southbound on Interstate 75 after a loose, flying tire struck her windshield, according to the Boone County Sheriff.
