Dozens arrested as Clayton County increases efforts to stop street racing
Clayton County authorities said a Sam's Club parking lot on Jonesboro Road was the site of a street racing bust this weekend.
JONESBORO, Ga. -
UPDATE 3 p.m. MONDAY: Deputies with the Clayton County Sheriff's Department arrested 20-year-old Oscar Gallegos, who police said led deputies on a high-speed chase when fleeing the scene of the street racing bust.
Authorities said they mistakenly identified his brother as the suspect, and Oscar Gallegos turned himself in on Monday after admitting he was the driver of the Gray Charger Hell Cat that police chased from the original scene.
