Sheppard Robson has been given the go-ahead for 783 build-to-rent homes on a long-derelict site by Leeds station
The practice is the third to have drawn up proposals for the empty site. In 2005, Assael Architecture won an RIBA competition for its plans for 887 homes on the plot; while in 2013 Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios won planning permission for a 609-home proposal – but developer Taylor Wimpey ultimately sold the land.
