SHELTERED housing residents counting down the days until lockdown ends say a garden project has been a lifeline for them.
Senior citizens living in St Margaret's Court in Greenock, run by Trust Housing Association, can't wait to get back out into the grounds for spring.
They have teamed up with Belville Community Garden and Age Concern Scotland to run a number of activities in their outdoor area.
Since last March the pensioners at the complex, which offers both sheltered housing and care packages, have spent long spells in isolation.
But resident George Glenny and his committee are making sure no one is left totally isolated.
