Shelter funding fading among legislative disagreement on spending bill

House and Senate Democrats broke for another long weekend Thursday without announcing any deal on a spending bill that would replenish shelter funding for the remainder of the fiscal year. While negotiators remain at odds, emergency shelter funding could run out in less than two weeks, a Healey administration official confirmed Thursday.
