Bat Out Of Hell – that’s the one where she sang on a handful of florid pop hits such as
Paradise By The Dashboard Light – Ellen Foley had a brisk start to her career.
There were three albums in four years from 1979, recorded on both sides of the Atlantic with big-name/big ego collaborators such as Mott the Hoople’s Ian Hunter, Bowie sideman Mick Ronson and Mick Jones of the Clash. There were hits of her own, such as
