An inquest into the horrific death of Shane Gilmer has heard how the neighbour who killed him with a crossbow made a final request to his sister before being found dead in a campervan.
Shane was shot twice with a crossbow by his neighbour Anthony Lawrence at his home in the sleepy village of Southburn, near Driffield, on January 12, 2018.
Lawrence, 55, had broken into the home Mr Gilmer shared with his pregnant partner Laura Sugden through an adjoining loft, laying in wait for them to return home from a date.
