Mahesh Bhatt’s 1982 drama Arth is considered to be one of the finest films ever made in Indian cinema. Many would also term it as a ‘must watch’. Starring Shabana Azmi and Kulbhushan Kharbanda in lead roles and Smita Patil, Raj Kiran and Rohini Hattangadi in supporting cast, the film followed the story of Pooja, who finds her true identity and a new meaning to life after being deserted by her husband Inder for another woman.
