It is not like something is very small, maybe for you guys because you have stable jobs and you are politicians, you make much more money then a taxidriver. Taxidriver makes only 50 to 60, maximum is 100 or 150. Our hundred 50 is not enough to live in the bay area. You cannot survive. Last week i had a request that if you can help us and while we are asking for our money back, if they are going to buy back as a credit, but if you can help us to load up our expenses, like we are paying to the Cab Companies 111,200 a month, what for . We purchased the medallion, we should be independently allowed to do the business. We can get the connection from verizon wireless, at t or anybody else for 10. Why are we paying hundreds of dollars to these Cab Companies . They have a cut in each and every place, and an insurance they have a 20 cuts. They charge us 100. 25 goes the cab company. Why . They give us 15 and they have a 15 cut over there. You name it, we are bleeding, we are dying and we are desperate. That is why we keep coming back again and again. Thank you very much for being with us i encourage the viewers not only to checkout the Earthquake Authority but well talk about. The hon. London breed almost. Good morning, everyone. Im london breed, mayor of San Francisco, and im so excited to be here today with so many amazing people to talk about something thats so important. Just this past week, we had a big event celebrating a 600 million Affordable Housing bond that will go on the ballot this november. [applause] the hon. London breed and i want to thank the board of supervisors for passing that unanimously, and i want to say that theres something in there for everyone, for our lowincome families and seniors, to our middleincome residents, to our teachers. We know that Housing Affordability is critical to the success of our city, and im grateful to the board of supervisors for passing that ballot measure, and i am hopeful with fingers crossed that the voters will support that, and we are putting forward that housing bond without raising property taxes again, so i just want to say that over and over and over again. [applause] the hon. London breed so today, we have another opportunity. Today, we are signing the legislation to put a 628 million bond on the ballot to help with our emergency facilities all over San Francisco, and we are also doing that without raising property taxes. [applause] the hon. London breed the goal is to put this on the march ballot, and so were going to have to work hard to get voters to approve this one, as well. I just want to start by that i thinking naomi kelly, and the work of the Capital Planning committee. Because of the work of the Capital Planning committee over the years, weve been able to have a very wellthoughtout plan for investing dollars in facilities that the city owns, especially our Public Safety facilities. And in 2010 and in 2014, voters passed these bonds without raising property taxes but with almost 80 of the vote to support rehabilitating facilities all over San Francisco. And just this year, i was really excited about cutting the ribbon on station 5, which is my home station, where i used to get my toys as a firefighter. Our firefighters and our Police Officers, fixing our
