SF Mission coffee shop Muddy's Coffee House to close after 27 years

Muddy's Coffee House at 1304 Valencia St. in San Francisco is closing after 27 years.Kevin Y. via Yelp
Muddy's Coffee House, located at 24th and Valencia streets in the Mission, is closing after 27 years. Owner Elham Massarweh told Mission Local that the closure is the result of failing to negotiate a rent reduction with their landlord.
“It is with a very heavy heart that we have to close the doors to Muddy’s Coffee House,” read a note on the door at Muddy's. "Without your loyalty, love, warmth, candor and, of course, coffee addictions, we would not have made it 27 years! These trying times have changed everything."
