Severe thunderstorm watch for Waterloo region with heavy downpours possible

Environment Canada has issued a severe thunderstorm watch for Waterloo region, saying conditions are favourable for dangerous thunderstorms that may be capable of producing strong wind gusts, large hail and torrential rain.
