Severance schools temporarily without full-time resource officers amid Severance police staffing issues

The issues affect Grandview Elementary School, Severance Middle School and Severance High School. Weld RE-4 Communications Director Katie Smith and Severance Town Manager Nicholas Wharton stressed that the move is only temporary and they hope to have officers return full time as early as next month.
