RAJKOT: In the past three days, seven foreign students of Marwadi University in Rajkot have tested positive for Covid-19.
According to university officials, out of seven, six are from Bhutan and one is from Nepal which include three females. Naresh Jadeja, registrar of the private university said, “The students came from their respective countries and tested positive. They have been isolated and being given treatment at the hostel.A team of RMC health officials also visited the campus and their condition is stable.”
All students are of first-year engineering. Officials said no foreign strain of Covid was found in any student.
