Delhi government has over 2,000 cars in its fleet and Manish Sisodia hopes that other cities also take inspiration from this decision.

New Delhi: Delhi Power Minister Satyendar Jain directed all the buildings like malls, shopping complexes, cinema halls, multiplexes, or office spaces, hotels, and restaurants which have a parking capacity of over 100 vehicles to set aside 5 per cent space for electronic vehicles (EVs).
Apart from this, in order to charge the electric vehicles, the buildings also need to have suitable EV chargers.
According to an official, with this, Delhi can have more than 10,000 charging points for electric vehicles by December. Also, the buildings will be given time till December to incorporate these facilities.
