Serum Institute, Bharat Biotech among other global pharma firms on radar of hackers

Vaccine developers, manufacturers, and administrators are now on the radar of Chinese and Russian hackers. Serum Institute, Bharat Biotech, Patanjali, AIIMS in India are among those on target of cybercriminals.

The disclosure comes as part of a report by cyber intel firm, Cyfirma
The report mentions, how atleast 15 hacking campaigns are currently active and trying to steal crucial information of patients, Covid vaccine research etc
Apart from Indian Pharma giants, those in US, UK Germany, Mexico Spain are also on the radar of cybercriminals
New Delhi: Major pharmaceutical companies, COVID-19 vaccine developers, manufacturers, and administrators of at least 12 countries are on the radar of Chinese and Russian hackers.
