sensex today: Sensex snaps 7-day rally, drops 132 points ahead of RBI policy

The Reserve Bank of Indias rate-setting panel, the Monetary Policy Committee (MPC), is likely to keep the repo rate unchanged at 6.5% for the fifth consecutive time, shifting its focus on liquidity tightening, according to some economists. The market capitalisation of all listed companies on BSE increased by Rs 1.32 lakh crore to Rs 350.17 lakh crore.
