Storm damage was reported Saturday evening just north of Seneca after what may have been a microburst came through the area, Oconee County fire chief Scott Krein said.
A communications tower broke in the winds and shingles blew off the roof at Total Communications, Oconee County administrator Amanda Brock said, and a vehicle on S.C. Highway 28 was damaged. The worst of the storm hit the Bountyland area near Keowee School Road and Highway 28, Krein said.
The area did not lose power and nobody was injured in the storm, Brock said.
