Sen. Gardenhire voices regrets over bill allowing alcohol on Chattanooga's Station Street

State Sen. Todd Gardenhire said while he's pleased Chattanooga Mayor Tim Kelly has announced an action plan to address ongoing violence-related woes in the city's Station Street entertainment district, he still regrets ever sponsoring the 2017 provision in Tennessee law that's allowed patrons of bars and nightclubs to legally bring alcoholic drinks onto the street.
