Seminoles Begin Women's College World Series Championship Series Against No. 1 Oklahoma

OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. – The third-seeded Florida State softball team (58-9) will begin their third national championship series against No. 1 Oklahoma (59-1) on Wednesday night at 8 p.m. ET on ESPN. This will not only be a rematch of the 2021 Women’s College World Series Championship Series but also the second meeting between the two teams this season as they played a midweek matchup in Norman on March 14. The Sooners took a tight one-run victory on the day. Series History This will be the 18th meeting between Florida State and Oklahoma. The two teams met earlier this year in Norman where OU took a 5-4 win. This is the third time the two teams have met in the postseason and the second time the teams have met in the Women’s College World Series National Championship.
