LANSING, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Michigan State Police and the National Guard remain on duty for security at the state Capitol this week.
With warnings from the FBI of potential armed protests over the weekend and on yesterday’s inauguration of President Biden, presence was increased last week.  A very small group gathered yesterday morning and left around noon, and some more showed up in the afternoon and left Trump campaign signs.
Michigan State Police Lieutenant Brian Oleksyk says they plan for the worst and hope for the best.
