Private security companies claim they have been vindicated by the final report of Victoria's hotel quarantine inquiry, which blamed systemic problems in the Andrews government for the failure of the program to protect the community from coronavirus.
The report, released on Monday after reviewing more than 70,000 documents and six weeks of hearings, identified flaws with almost every aspect of the Victorian government's set-up and oversight of the quarantine scheme for international arrivals.
