Security beefed up in Mumbai, Pune after blast outside Israeli Embassy in Delhi: Maha DCM Ajit Pawar

After a low-intensity explosion was reported outside the Israeli Embassy in the national capital on Friday evening, security has been beefed up in Mumbai and Pune, informed Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar. He also urged the people of the state to remain vigilant and report any suspicious objects or movements to the police immediately.

Besides, Mumbai Police has issued a city wide alert and beefed up security at important places.
Also, the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) has issued an alert at all airports, important installations and government buildings in Delhi. "Enhanced security measures have been put in place," CISF added.
