SPRING VALLEY —
A second suspect — a 25-year-old San Diego man — was arrested Tuesday in the fatal shooting of a 42-year-old man in Spring Valley, sheriff’s officials said Wednesday.
Isak Espino was booked into county jail on suspicion of murder in connection with the July 11 death of Dante Lopez. Espino remained jailed without bail Wednesday, according to online jail records.
Espino’s arrest comes more than a week after George Gomez, 20, of San Diego, was arrested on suspicion of murder in connection with the case.
Homicide Lt. Thomas Seiver has said at least one shooter walked up to Lopez near a parked car.
