A Seattle hospital invited donors to jump its COVID-19 vaccine line, The Seattle Times reported.
The move came after a technical issue left one hospital with extra slots at short notice.
The invite-only appointments didn't take place after Gov. Jay Inslee intervened.  
A Seattle hospital emailed its donors offering invite-only COVID-19 vaccination slots as the public waiting list ran through to March, The Seattle Times reported. 
The Overlake Medical Center & Clinics told the paper it offered the appointments to its mailing list — 110 of whom were major donors — after its booking system failed and left numerous places to be filled at short notice.
