Scotts Bluff County will soon begin the process of seeking out candidates to fill the County Assessor’s position being vacated by Amy Ramos.
Last week, Deputy Assessor Angela Dillman was appointed to the post on an interim basis while the process of finding Ramos’ replacement plays out.
County Board Chair Ken Meyer noted there are some very specific qualifications for the post, which includes certification by the state. “Continuing education goes on after you become certified, but there’s work experience that needs to go along with it, and managerial skills,” said Meyer, “and some other things we’ll go through when we do the interviews, background checks and those kind of things.”
