Itâs taken three years, but the Seabourne Creek Nature Center may finally find its funding.
At Tuesdayâs Rosenberg City Council meeting, council members agreed to find the engineering plan of the project through the parkland dedication fund.
This item was brought to council by council member Isaac Davila.
âThe engineering plan is needed so we can go out and get grants and donations for the construction of the nature center,â he explained to council.
âOriginally, the (Rosenberg Development Corp.) was contributing money, and I wanted to see if we could do it with parkland dedication funds.â
The first step in building a nature center at Seabourne Creek Nature Park includes paying for a $385,000 engineering study.
