Sea turtle volunteers win right to protect nests - South Florida Sun-Sentinel

Sea Turtle Oversight Protection, which deploys a squad of unpaid guardians to protect sea turtle nests in Broward County, had been told the state planned to phase out their permits. The group took the state to court, and on Monday an administrative law judge issued a ruling in the turtle group’s favor.
