Lela Schroder of Flippin Middle School is shown with her first-place artwork. She recently captured first in the 25th anniversary Arkansas State Fish Art Contest Junior Division sponsored by Bass Pro. The competition has more than 55,000 submission annually for the national competition. The Fish Art Contest uses art, science and creative writing to foster connections to the outdoors and inspire the next generation of stewards.
