The Morongo Unified School District Board of Trustees will hold a special meeting this afternoon to discuss whether or not to permit in-person learning for the second half of the 2020-2021 school year. Reporter Andrew Dieleman has the details…
At today’s meeting, the board will begin in closed session at 4 p.m. to conference with labor negotiators. In open session at 4:15 p.m., the board will make a final decision on whether schools will resume with an in-person or hybrid model, or continue current distance learning models on January 19. Public comments on the topic will be accepted from 9 a.m. to one hour before the meeting begins. The meeting will be held via YouTube Live from the official MUSD YouTube Page.
