Juneau School Board member Brian Holst
Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - The Juneau School Board will be looking to revise the district's pandemic protocols based on the Center for Disease Control and Prevention's new masking policy during its meeting August 10.
The CDC is recommending that fully vaccinated students, teachers, and other staff don't have to wear masks in school, It still calls for those not vaccinated to wear a mask. The guidelines continue to call for a three foot distancing rule, testing, and other mitigation measures, especially in elementary schools where the students are too young to qualify for the vaccine.
