Scarlet Pearl Casino requiring masks and vaccination for employees

With COVID cases rising along the Coast, the Scarlet Pearl is making sure to keep their employees and guests safe.
Last week, Scarlet Pearl reinstated its mask mandate for all employees. Now they are requiring all employees to be fully vaccinated. Around 56 percent of the casino’s employees are already vaccinated.
The CDC has reversed the indoor mask policy, saying fully vaccinated people should wear them indoors. Although Scarlet Pearl is requiring their employees to wear masks, guests still have the option. Scarlet Pearl VP Marketing Ben Koff said, “It is our job as leaders, not only here on property, in the industry, but also in the community, to push for this vaccination effort. That is the only way we are going to be able to tackle what is going on right now. We are seeing resurgences of the delta variant with COVID. Honestly, we want to keep people out of hospitals. Our health care providers are asking us to help as well so this is what we are doing to play the part.”
