Superintendent of Schools Dr. David DeRuosi Jr. announced that grades kindergarten to five will transition to hybrid learning starting Feb. 25, with the Saugus Middle-High School commencing hybrid orientation on March 2.
DeRuosi said the plan is for cohort A in grades K-5 to start on a hybrid schedule that features a mix of in-person instruction and remote learning on Feb. 25. Cohort B will then hold its hybrid orientation program on Feb. 26.
Students in grades six to 12 will begin their hybrid orientation schedule on March 2, DeRuosi said.
A week of orientation is planned for all students who will be returning to in-person instruction, with high school students at the complex from 8-10:30 a.m. on their designated days and middle school students at the complex from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on their designated days.
